The only thing I miss from my 2000 TL compared to the current model is the memory seat feature. I even waited until the 2001 models came out to see if memory seats would be added, and bought the 2000 model at a discount when I found it wasn't. Then just a few months later they announce that the 2002 models would have it... (D'oh!)

The Type-S would have been nice, but it's the memory seats I really feel the lack of, since my wife is 5 feet tall and I am 6'2". I can't even sit in the front seat after she drives the car until I nudge the power seat back about a foot.

So... Is it possible to "aftermarket" it in? Would I need to replace the stock seats?

Anybody heard of it being done?

 

I am sure it can be done, however you have to weigh the cost/benefit aspect. I am sure it would be a pretty penny and even more if you had to get new seats! good luck though.
