I got an Alpine W205. Works great. The only thing is that the AC and the OEM HU are part of the same system. So, you are going to have to keep the factory radio attached. Also, you can't put a new HU in the top unless you want to lose the use of your vents in the middle. So, you have a couple of options. The easiest is to find someone who is selling a factory nav and put that in your car. The other is to install an aftermarket double din in the pocket with the flip open door. My top screen is not a touch screen and is mostly there so that I don't have the ugly OEM radio showing.

Reach..With the D3, can you keep the Navi disc in the unit and play your cd's using a disc changer? Or if the navi disc is in the unit your just screwed trying to play cd's?

If you get a Pioneer changer you can use that and have active navi at the same time.

The Pioneers are pretty smart tho, if you have the navi disc in and input a route you'd like guidance for, such as on a long trip, it will store the route in memory. Then you can take out the disc and put in a CD or DVD and play that while also having navi guidance. It even caches about 1/2mile on either side of your route, in case you pull off the road to get gas or snacks or just stop, it still has enough info to do proper guidance without needing you to re-insert the navi disc.
