ok, so i've been working on this project for almost 4 months now. Here's what I have:

JL 500/1 Mono block
JL 12w6v2
JL 300/4 with sublevel out
Mac Mini

i plan on removing the factory amp and going direct from the head unit. what i need to know is what else do i need? i am planning on getting that sony honda adapter. will that allow me to connect the mac mini to the head unit, or should i go straight from the mac mini to the amps? my only concern with the latter is that the mac mini audio output is only 2 channels. i can buy a 2 to 4 channel adapter for the mini, but i was wondering if the sony/honda adapter or the head unit do this already. i plan on using the stock head unit for CD play back, but I would like to retain full navi function with the mini for MP3 playback.

i also want to know if there are any factory audio wiring harness adapters for use with the tsx head unit. essentially I want to find a black box of some sort that will let me connect the head unit's line out wiring harness to 4 rca females.

any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

The OEM HU takes 2-channel in the AUX input and then does split F and R thoruhg the OEM fader. No problem there.

I still haven't seen any harness like the one you speak of... it would help, but I still haven't seen one.

I would plan on using a ground loop isolator on the output of the Mac mini... as far from the back of the HU as possible to avoid it picking up ECU noise.
