hey all, i just bought me my first tsx and i love it, anyway

i love the way the interrior looks and i dont want to change the factory audio equipment except new speakers and putting a sub in, my question is how do i do this without putting in a head unit?

...you replace the speakers and add a sub! No need to change the HU if you don't want to. Start by searching through this forum for common phrases like "speaker upgrade" and "adding subwoofer" and you should get some good hits.

 

thanks , but i mean if i do that then will i still get a better sound? can the factory unit produce that much power to after market speakers?

 

it will be similarly as loud as the oem speakers, but just sound better. not light years better, but better. if you want it to sound amazing, or even reach the full potential of whatever speakers you put in, you'll need to invest in some aftermarket amplification.
