Looking for cheap speakers...need some help

Hey guys,

All 4 of my speakers are blown out, they are Kenwoods that I put in a few years ago. Now I don't know how much longer I'm keeping this car so I only want something that will sound good, don't care too much about bass, just looking for something clear and cheap. Like I said, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be hanging onto the Pathfinder so something inexpensive suits my needs.

So I need some suggestions for brands / models

Thanks

I don't think the members who frequent here do so for "cheap" speakers. What kind of prices are you looking at? I think you can pick up Alpine type S speakers at a pretty good price on e-bay. They're pretty good build and sound better than the OEM speakers.

Clarion's new 2007 line is pretty cool and they have cheap speakers that will do the job just fine! Check 'em out!

Honestly no more that $150 for all four, I figured someone must know of a brand that would be reliable but not expensive, something that you would pick up at Circuit City or something along those lines.

I spent well over $1000 on the CL when I had it and then I ended up getting rid of it so I don't want to dump a ton of money into the Nissan, bought a new deck and got Sirius but the speakers are killin' me.

I've read, but haven't actually seen first hand, that you can pick up Alpine Type S speakers for about $55-$60/pr. on e-bay. That would fit your $$ requirement. Don't know about fitment into a Pathfinder though. Are they 6.5"?
