loc wiring help please
I need some help with wiring my line out converter on my 2k3 tl-s. What I see are 4 wires running right out of the stock sub: 2 black and 2 red. Then there is a white box out of which 4 wires run that are different from the red and black, and go to the amp. Where do i connect the wires on my LOC? Also how exactly do I attach those wires, just strip part of the wire and twist my LOC wire on? Any help is appreciated. PS I did check old posts but wanted to ask some specifics on my own.
Thanks

I don't think you need to hook up a LOC. Are you adding a Sub Box? If the answer is yes than you can get the signal off the brown shield twist pair before the Bose Amp behind your rear seat.(two wires in a twist pair) give you single channel for the sub. Beside I think it may burn you loc if you connect to the speaker wire after passing the stock amp.

bjo, you don't want to use a loc for signal from the sub out to the sub (if that's what your trying to setup). The signal that runs into the sub amp is already a low voltage signal. That's exactly what you need to connect to your aftermarket amplifier. Running a loc from the bose amp out wires is redundant and it won't sound good. Do a search on this subject. Someone did what you wanted to do with a loc and the bass quality was really bad.
