line to RCA converter help

line to RCA converter help

hi all,

i have a line level input to RCA converter for my sub... one end of the coverter has the 2 back speakers inputs and the other end has the rca output... but there's a black wire that sits in between the 2 line inputs and it's not connected...

what is it? ground? should i leave it? or connect it to somewhere? help please...

call circuit city install dept. those guys are really cool and will just tell you real quick over the phone
