lights dim when radiator kicks in, can a cap help?

When my car stops and the radicator fan kicks in, I notice all the lights in my car will dim. I don't have a system (excepte for a mp3 disc changer), would installing a cap help resolve the issue? If so how do I install it?

there is no reason your lights should dim if you dont have anything connected to your car.. i would have to say take your car to acura and have them fix it if you are still covered by warranty... but to me it sounds like either a bad battery or your altenator might be getting ready to go bad...

Get a new battery, a cap is only good if you have a huge ass system. I have 1100 watts at least in my system and with my lights on, ac on and heated seats on with the system bumpin, my cap never reads less that 13 volts. In other words, our stock electrical system puts out plenty of power for a 1000 watt system w/o a cap.
