LCD question

LCD question

i have a lcd monitor in my dash and i have a couple of broken pixels in it.
does the whole monitor need to be replaced or can i get the pixels replaced?

Only problem with Dead Pixels is that if you only have a few Dead Pixels and call for a warranty repair, they might tell you that it is a acceptable failure rate, that if only a certain number of dead pixels are present they will repair.

I've had this issue with LCD Monitors and Plasma Screens. They have an acceptable failure rate on them.

thanks for the info guys. i think theres only 4 dead pixels but theyre spread out across the monitor unfortunately.
i guess ill have to live with them for now.

the system is kinda a slow work in progress. i just got my new jl audio amps so im hoping to get some time this weekend to work on it, however it is going to be a while before its done. i have a digital camera i just need to figure out how to post some pics of how its coming along.

thanks but i sat down this morning and loaded them on to car domain. i posted the link to them in 2nd gen gallery thread. not the best pics though, i will take more soon.
