I recently bought a 1999 TL without a key fob. I bought one from eBay and have been trying to program it with no success. When I search the Internet every one is giving instructions to program but i would like to know what could be the causes of this beyond not following the steps correctly or dead battery. Please help. I hate the fact that my wife is not able to use one when she has the car. Thank you in advance.
