I just got my rockford fosgate punch 120.2 amp and bazooka rs804dv sub. I love the way it adds just enough bass to my bose system. Before the bazooka, i had a alpine 10" ported box but that thing was just too much and too pimp for me. My system isn't much but it does the job that I was looking for.

 

thats what i'm looking for i don't want a ricer mobile that vibrates the car and everything around it, i just want some punch to the base - i was looking for a 10inch sub or maybe an 8 inch

 

All you had to do is turn the bass control down on the amp or use a smaller amp. I personally dont like tubes, but if you like thats all that matters.

 

Actually I tried turning down the amp but it was still too much. my trunk was still vibrating which I didn't like. Also, I had to make an appointment if I wanted to switch amps, which I couldn't wait because the high bass was making me feel sick. True, tubes aren't as deep as the box but a tube also takes up less space. I was able to move a 19" monitor in my trunk thanks to the space that I have saved. Thanks for your opinion KikAzCL97.
