damn... $200 for all that?

put up a review when you get it set up, I'd love to hear how it works.

I have never heard of Woot before, much less the Rockford Fosgate adapter... is this legit?

It appears that way from what I've been reading in the past 20 minutes...

Now, the question is... do I go ahead and buy one of these, or get an iPod w/ aux input via IceLink for $600?

Is this Rockford Fosgate a solid product?

Woot is legit, and RF makes great products (better amps than decks though IMO).

But... this is a lot of stuff to put in the car, plus that deck looks pretty junky. Personally, I'd go with an Ipod/Alpine combo.

You don't really need the WiFi...cool, but unneccessary.

I agree. As tempting as this deal is, I am going to hold off. I much prefer the iPod hook-up as it should involve less work overall (no wires for power, trunk mounting, etc.) and I think it will be much more usable. However, I would be highly interested in reading about your install and a small review when it is completed.

There will no doubt by hundreds of these on eBay in the coming weeks, so maybe I will change my mind by then

It's actually two systems:

The first is a hard drive based mp3 player for a car that can be configured to use a wireless connection to obtain music from a nearby computer.

The other is a wireless receiver that allows you to play music stored on a computer through another audio playback system, such as a home stereo in the next room.

The Omnifi system is real cool. Let us know how you like it once it is up and running. That is a great deal on it.

Yo slick, me TOO! three of us ordered one today in my office. It will be a very mice addition to my system! And now that I have a brand new transmission, looks like I can keep her for at least another three years.
