JL's CLEAN SWEEP??
JL's CLEAN SWEEP??
SOoo.. i wanna somehow update for starters my sound on a 05' tsx. I came across goin to "Tweeter Co." and they recommended JL's CLean Sweep. Its powerd by an amp btw. It takes all the highs and lows and takes them to the right channels, also controls the mid ranges and ur analog sounds to make them digital.
Has anyone heard of "clean sweep" or anyone have it? care for a review ?

yes im keeping my stock head unit (tsx 05).. i dont wanna FUDGE wit the wiring and all. Can someone recommend another route, i jis want LOUDER AND CLEARER SOUND. maybe an amp to the speakers? or maybe jis speaker change? Oo Oo.. AND THE BACK SPEAKERS tht (act like subs) THYRE HORRIBLE!! im gettin distortion frm them. If i change the speakers wht should i promptly do first the back , mids or the front speakers? sorry abt all the ?s lol
I had a clean sweep. Cleanest sound i ever heard. I dont like having to use the volume on the clean sweep to control the sound though. The shop said I actually blew a tweeter by turning up the volume on the head unit to much and not using the clean sweep as the main volume control.
I removed it and had an alpine IVA w200 installed.

lets see a pic of the alpine IVA w200 in your car I am interested in doing the same thing.
do a search for the clean sweep
If i remember correctly, it was completely unnecessary for the tsx, since all it did was remove any EQ'ing in most stock headunits, but the 05' tsx output was already flat. I'm not too familiar with the tsx, so maybe someone else can chime in. I think if you were interested in the other features such as the aux in, there are cheaper products on the market.

The signal coming from the stock tsx headunit is a balanced flat line livel output. Basically put, it is the same thing as an rca output off of any aftermarket headunit, only the signal is passed through the speaker wire coming off the radio.
