JL Audio E1200 amplifier -- is this any good?
I'm putting in two 10" Kenwood Tornadoes in a box with that amp in the trunk (unhooking the stock Bose sub).
The guy at the audio shop told me it just came out like a month ago and is pretty sweet, He's asking for 190 for it.
I don't know much about audio systems, to be honest. But he said the Kenwood subs I have are 4 ohms each, and with that amp it would be single channel, whatever the hell that means.
So... do you think that'd be a good setup? I don't want trunk-shaking bass. I don't really like that. I just want a little added bump. That's all.
Waddya think?

well it's rated at 200 watts at 2 ohms which is what u are going to be running, but then again it's rated at 12.5 volt and u are pushing somewhere in the 13's so it's gonna put out a little more power than it's rated at.... i dunno how many watts each sub of yours can handle, but i guess it'll give it some power to move, probably not enough to thump hard.....

But the guy at the shop told me I would be surprised, and indeed I was. It bumps pretty hard. I'm happy with it, and that's all I care about.
