nah, i didnt get it from the site. i bought it off ebay. i just asked all the people who is selling the brand new jl 500/1 that i will buy it now for 350$ and i got all rejected. so i emailed them again for $360 and one guy said he will do it but i went out right after i emailed him so he relisted as 360$ buy it now with free shipping and someone else bought it, and i was so sad -,.-. and i started to ask again and one guy i keep bargaining and he finally said yeah, and told me to pay him 360$ with in an hour. so i did and he closed the auction. =D i was so happy. hehehe i guess it was a good deal. =D

Thats a lot of power for that sub. Get a 13.5W6v2 or a 10W7!

 

if i remember right a 12w6 can only take 300 rms, way too much power for it

 

well i had 250/1 JL amp with 12w6 and my friend had some rockford amp and bridged with 12 W3 and it hited 3x harder then my piece of shit. so i asked you guys in the other topic wut amp should i get to make it sound like that and you guys told me to get JL 500/1 amp for 12 w6! and now you guyz are telling me its too much?! -,.-

 

Its better to have to much than not enough....you can always turn it down!

I have a JL Audio 500/1 w/ a single 12W6. Hits HARD with no problems for over a year. I have it dialed up almost all the way and turn the gain up too loud daily.

also i juss recieved my new JL 500/1 amp. it hits hard. but my friend has trouble setting the amp up to make it sound the best.
also he set it up but i know it can hit harder...

can anyone help me? also like i said i have JL 12W6.
