Ipods in cars

Hello all,

I am sure you have all seen the add for the beetle and the ipod promotion they are running. Does anyone have any info on how to get the mount that they show in the comercial. I would love to hook up my ipod in my cl, but don't want it sitting in the cupholder with wires everywhere. I think the VW setup looks sweet.

Any thoughts?

That comercial is totally misleading. First, they don't really show that the ipod holder is a cupholdler adapter anyways, Then, you're still going to have cables everywhere because you have to use the belkin charger and the cassette adapter. You can verify all this on VW's site. I did I custom install using a universal PDA mount from akron and I hardwired a belkin Auto Kit for iPod w/ Dock Connector, which connected to the blitzsafe adapter. Basically, you have one cable to the ipod, and I kind of hid that. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I'll add them in a minute.
