What kind of car do you have?
You should definitely be able to do this as long as the Dom's Converter and AUX are available for your car. The audio and video from the Ipod would be able to definitely run at the same time.

For the Ipod, there is an AV cable that will give you a 3 RCA plugs as output. The yellow RCA plug will be for video and you will run that to the input of Dom's unit. This will allow you to view the video on your navi screen.

Then other two plugs will audio be red and white audio plugs. You'll plug that into the AUX input so that the sound can be heard through the speakers on your car.

I bet someone out there already has this. If they haven't it because the Ipod video is fairly new. That would be my only guess.

I have it setup in my car, but I have a TSX and a Pioneer N2. I got 100+ music videos on my Ipod and it works great. It looks great in my car and I bet it would look good on the navi screen too.

I'm looking for someway to integrate this thing when it comes out:

If you have the mod and can play DVD movies on the Navigation, then your car is prime candidate for the iLink by Valor multimedia. See iPod text on the Nav-- i also read somewhere that you can even playback video from any iPod

first thing first - get the RGB conversion first.

everything is possible & doable just takes $$$$ & research.

There is a BIG reason. The audio video cable for the iPod doesn't show song and album info when playing. It is just for playing video and showing pictures. I was going to do this, until I found that info out.

Plus, don't waste the money on the apple cable. Just buy a regular 1/8 ear phone to red/white/yellow cable at S**T Shack. Apple switched it so the yellow is really an audio cable...not sure if the white or red is the video, try both.

Hey Dom, is this going to be an "add on". Your DVD mod works AWESOME, just finished the install this weekend. I am not too happy with the Aux3 Audio unit though (not yours). Could be something I messed up though.

I ran Audio/Video cables back to your box (from my Video Ipod) just in case something like this would come out.
