I know there have been a lot of threads on this but due to mixed responses upon searches, I wanted to make a new thread for clarification purposes. I have a 2000 Acura TL with factory stereo and navi. Does the icelink or blitzsafe work fine with them to hook up my 20gb ipod? And if so, does anything get compromised? (e.g. cd player use) Thanks a lot in advance.

 

im not sure about the ICELINK or BLITZSAFE but MONSTER came out with this hardwired thing called the iCruze which is compatible with your TL

if that works i don't see why the IceLink wouldn't

 

thanks NFLblitz. The icelink website says it only works for 2000 TLs without navis... which is why i needed to double check the navi/non-navi issue. thanks for your help.

 

but see my question is.... since our navi does not control our audio, does it make a difference?

 

It has been done. I should know, I am probably one of the first 10 ppl to have it done. The ICELINK does work for 2nd Gen TL's with Navi. Do a search, skyflye posted a DIY on CL forum.
