I turned on my car today and the tape to connect to the ipod spit out. i pushed it back in and it switched the tape around a couple times and it spit back out. i kept trying and it finally worked on the 6th time. does this happen to you guys?

I bought my tape converter from radio shack for about $20!

Mine does it all the time but as many times as I try.. It never works again..

mine will sometimes do it in the middle of a song like it thinks the tape ran out. But Overall it works pretty good.

if the tape player isn't getting an audio signal it will reject it, try it with the ipod playing

I used the SONY tape deck converter. That one is pretty reliable IMO. I bought a cheaper generic brand from Best Buy and my car would not play it consistently and the same applied to my parents' Lexus GS300.
