Is the 2002 tl 6 disc head unit the same as the tl type s head unit.

Is the 2003 tl 6 disc head unit the same as the 2002 tl type s 6 disc head unit.


Are they compatible and does one have less watts than the other... does anybody know are there any differences.

 

yes, 02-03 head units are the same for the TL. The CL has a different radio that will not work with a TL and vise vera

 

Just need to make sure that the Navigation option is checked......The Nav. option has a link into the head units speaker output jacks.........I just purchased a new head from Honda, and the navigation option on my 2002 TL Type S, requires a specific head for the "voice" functions to work........Good luck.

Yes. They are the same between standard TL and Type S.
