ipod & sat radio in 04 tsx
Hi ya'll
i've had sirius satellite radio hardwired for a while now. However i now would like to have both a hookup for Ipod and satellite radio. What is there on the market that would allow this?
Thanks,
Jay

Seriously I hate the search button but it does bring out a lot of good info, sometimes too much!

Jigga, that model doesn't exist anymore, it is now the USA SPEC PA11-HON2Y. This model now comes with that already integrated connector for your XM radio. The previous model didn't come with it and you had to buy it seperately but now they both come together. Your factory headunit CD changer will work just fine....no idea what he was talking about!!

I bought this for my 04 but ended up using it my 06. the cord is just there as an option. Basically, if you have XM, there is a blue cable that will be plugged into the back section of the factory headunit, thi cable would be unplugged and then plugged into the adaptor plug that has been added to the new USA SPEC Y. However, since you have an 04, this adaptor will just be any extra feature you don't need to worry about. As for whether or not it could be plugged into an external sirus radio, i don't think so. But, on the USA SPEC unit itself, there is an additional RCA jacks for external DVD players, MP3 players, and other things such as your external sirus radio. I think it would be perfect for you and the sound quality is just as good, if not better than, a CD.
