hey all, i have an 04 tsx navi , i was wondering if it was possible to play videos on your ipod to show on your navi screen. if it is possible can anyone generate some pictures and instructions please. im sure alot of people would like this as well thx.

i have tried searching but nothing pops up answerin my question. guess i wasnt clear sorry
i know you can hook up your ipod to the tsx and have text on your navi screen but i mean if u play videos on your ipod will that pop up as well?? or is this a whole other thing? sorry im not that tech savvy so please put it in simple terms thx

okie besides the sarcasim still doesnt say if it can play videos through the ipod, all that tells me is that it can play dvds unless im missing something

 

yes yoiu can, you will need doms TV NAV TO GO, a shadow ipod kit (for the wire) and something for audio, I have a USA SPEC HON2Y in my TL. Anyway, plug the auido into the USA SPEC and video into dom's unit. There are a bunch of threads on this subject in the 3G TL audio and bluetooth section.

 

You got me curious so i started looking around tonight and found this. Looks pretty damn sweet. You would still need dom's unit for video or the homemade one(if you only need one video output)

OMG!! Any video source will play video through your NAVI screen using that unit. The iPod is a video source. I apologize if you don't think my sarcasm is warranted. I thought that I was going beyond courtesy by playing along this far.
