IPOD Installer in Central/North NJ

Hey Folks,

Has anyone gotten an IPOD connection installed in their CAR. I have a Accord w/NAVI and want to be able to change the songs on the IPOD using the steering wheel control.

If anyone has had this connected and is pleased with the results, please recommend the place and tell me where it is located.

Thanks in advance.

I instaled my own Densiuon ICE-Link - easy install. Did not like the Sony interface which allowed use of steering wheel controls to change songs (Too slow) so I just rebooted to Apple interface.

Installing the IceLink was a piece of cake for me, and I have very little installing experience. It took me less than 5 minutes. Save yourself $50.

Yeah...but I don't feel like pulling the Navigation system apart

You might not need to. I don't know what the installation involves for an Accord, but on the TSX all I had to do was pull out the storage bin below the stereo/navi controls and reach up behind the unit to unplug and re-plug the connectors. All I needed was a compact mirror to help me see behind the unit.

Again, I don't know if an Accord installation is comparable, but I can't imagine it would be that different. I was going to seek having it installed also, but I figured I'd give it a try first. I'm glad I did because it really was simple and I saved myself $50.
