looking hook up an ipod to my stock tl deck. My friend got a fm transmitter thing directly hooked up to his deck or something like that....but I've also seen interfaces, which one should I do?

well if ur factory unit has a aux jack all u need is an aux cable. its small and goes into the headphone jack on ur ipod. both ends of the cable are the same size. so then jes switch the factory unit to tha aux mode and u control the music thru your ipod.

btw fm transmitter are kinda lame. u get much better quality using an aux cable.

i don't think the tl has a aux jack. What tl do you have? If you have a third gen (2004+) check out the audio, bluetooth and electrons forum in there.
