Ipod Connetions

Any one know if the iCruze works on an 2003 Acura 3.2 CL and if it does, will the in dash changer still work. Also once it's connected, how would you switch to the CD changer jack that the iCruze would be connected to (or if not the iCruze something like the iceLink). Thanks

I too own a 2003 CL-S and would be interested if anyone has experience with the iCruze product.

With respect to the IceLink, it seems people connecting to the CL-S have had success with V1.1 (now discontinued) but it looks like the IceLink Plus product is still going through the development / quality control process. The IceLink Plus product does not require a general adaptor as did V1.1 (3 cables / two boxes), you simply connect the iPod to the IceLink and the IceLink to stereo. Unfortunately for me, I received / returned two adaptors before someone figured out that they were not configured as V1.1. The good news is that I can now take the dash apart in about 10 minutes :>)

When the IceLink does work, you start it up by hitting the CD button (first time goes to the in-dash CD, the second time goes to the iPod). The stereo controls then allow you to change tracks / playlists (up to 5). Hopefully the new version will be ready soon – otherwise I will start looking at other options (such as the iCruze).
