Just about to convert my non-navi 99 TL to a navi and was wondering if there's any way of displaying cd info from my aftermarket HU on the nav screen? Or even IPOD info?

 

yes, but the only one i know of besides the carputers involves using a remote controll and not the steering wheel controlls. Do a search for it, its somewhere on here..sorry i dont remeber the name of it

 

GrandMarkie, I'm in the same boat as you and I'm leaning towards Valor iLink, it has interface to display song, playlists, but most attractive files and video on nav screen with video interface for nav., uses remote.
you can google Valor ilink and find some info, the manufacturers page is horrible, and I forgot it, b/c it was of 0 help.
keep me posted on which route you end up going, getting my car tomorrow 04 TL and need to order the components for installer.

P.I.E. X3 w/Acura harness for 3 addl. audio inputs - hooks direct through XM for aux and keeps XM in use
Valor iLink for ipod
