I am looking for a good shop in the dc area. I've tried a few around here through the years, and the places I've been usually break more than they install. thanks.

best sound shop in DC is on Georgia Ave NW. It's right at the intersection of Gallatin St and Georgia Ave. I've have work done there before on everyone of my car's and have always had a good experience. I think the name is discount sound. Every once in a while a few famous folks come thru as well.

you should... the shop isn't extremely impressive but the quality of work is.

 

thanks for the help goldbadgin. i went there in 2001 to change the headunit in my 02 tls. they said they had a single din dash kit to fit what i wanted. they didnt. what they had was a lexus kit, that didnt fit. they actually cracked my dash a little. i wonder if they have improved in the past 5 years.

 

yeah they have... same management, different crew. The crew they had back in 2001 was the crew they opened the shop with when they moved down from Silver Spring. I think they had a lot of problems when they started to get really popular.

 

I'll stop by in a few days and left you know what they say, I got a few new pieces to install and a few questions. The outside a little ratty but I'll give them a chance.
