Intermittent Basslink on start up?

Hey guys, my Infinity Basslink usually acts fine, however during the first five minutes or so after start up, the Basslink has an intermittent sound. Like it will play the bass notes, then I will hear a "Pop"-like sound, and nothing, then I hear another "pop" and it comes back on. It does this for a good 5-10 minutes, and it's very very annoying. What is wrong with it? It seems to be fine after those initial minutes, so I don't know what could be the problem

Not sure what you drive, but the Basslink may be like other amps that need a "full-range" signal for the auto-turn-on. Auto turn on circuits sometimes don't like bass-only signals.

If you have a TSX and are tapping the 6x9 speaker wires for turn on that might be it.

I have an 03 CL-S, it came with the car already installed. None of the wires seem to be loose, and sometimes when I turn the car off I hear a buzzing noise coming from the back........

How is the basslink hooked up? Stepped down into factory speakers or connected at the factory amp ?

First thing I'd check is the ground..

I honestly could tell you. I spend some more time looking at it tonight, and it seems like the "Power" light isn't on, and all you hear is an electronic sounding interference, like some signal is going through it just doesn't get processes because the "system" is not on. I dunno, I'll just take it to Ultimate Audio or something this week and have them look at it.........

Mine likes to cut out, and it's not turned up all that much

and I think when mine cuts out it does the same thing, although it doesn't do it right upon start up.

I think mine is the way my friend installed it, it's not that bad so I just live with it.
