Question Interior light conversion pricing poll

Well, there has been some good progress on the interior light color conversion at we are at a point of making an actual sellable product.

But here is the problem, the 20 lights for the Navi/Radio area are not easy to replace. Between the LED, resistor, and mini curcuit boards, price adds up.

So before we go further on this, we need to know if anyone would still buy it and what you think its worth.

Remimber, this is to change the colors of the center stack, the door buttons, and VSA/sunroof/heatedseat buttons.

Thank you!

80 and less can be the same thing

Well, I"m not setting prices, the person I"m working with is. He has an idea of what he would like to charge, but I don't know what the market would be at that price.

LEDs are fairly cheap these days, its having circuit boards made that apparently is pricey.

What a pain in the ARSE
would it be a complete replacement for our "your" boards?
Wouldn't that be of less quality then Acura board and coid warranty?
They should just make the bulbs changeable
bastards!

E_lectro: Thanks for doing all this legwork.
Are you talking about changing the LEDS to BLUE?

This does not replace the radio board, on the lights. The boards that are being made are the same size as the current lights. They hold the resistor and LED and alow for you just to solder one item to the radio. And yes, changing the lights is a pain there, they should have made the lights replaceable. If one of the bulbs goes out now, I think the dealer has to replace the entire center stack

captainjack-
With this, you should be able to change the lights to any color that LEDs are made in.

It not dead, just in remission

I have been to busy working on other things to give it any attention (Navi conversion taking the most time, house the rest). I have converted all of the normal switches, but those are easy, the hold up is the navi/radio area.
