Hey guys,
As some of you know I aquired a used 99 Navigation system. I have a 00 non navi TL. I am trying to install it to make it look like it came stock. I have so far the dash peice, Moniter, Hard drive. I will need to get the navi A/c Unit and an antenna. I have the electornics helms manual. If somebody could help me out to just install the Moniter I would be greatful. For now I am just trying to hook up the stock moniter so I can put PS2 in it and do the AVC-RGB1 mod. Help would be greatfully appretiated. Thanx

 

well you would need the avc-rgb no matter what to use a ps2. then i'd think you wouldnt need a relay cuz no need to switch from navigation to video....and that all you have to wire is the avc-rgb straight to the rgb and composite signal on the navi screen..then hook up all the power source to power up the screen...power up the decoder. so your basically using just the navi screen like very expensive aftermarket LCD monitor for video. i dont know..wat do you think?

Got it from a salvage yard.

 

Could some one tell me how to wire just the moniter set up. I think I am not going to do the hardrive till the summer. Just the Moniter for now. Whats involved, Power, Ground, ? I dunno Austin Streets? Heres the Schematics tell me what you guys make out of them.

Asif2002, how are you going control the ac and the heater. does all wire just fit prefect.

 

I am just waiting for an AVC-RGB1 or something like it
