installing amps to stock 3G TL-S speakers

I want to remove my 4 channel amp from my 2G TL-S and install it on to my 3G TL-S. But my 3G TL-S has stock speakers. Will there be dramatic difference pertaining to sound quality upon installing the amp on to stock speakers? What are the parts that is needed to go forth with installing the aftermarket amp on to stock audio?

Don't do that. The stock speakers can't handle that much power and you will most likely blow them immediately. The stock amp is designed for those speakers.

Get some aftermarket speakers if you want to hook your amp up.

Actually, check with a member I HATE CARS...I know he has quite a few posts saying he's running a higher amperage to his factory speakers (at least the rears) and it sounds that much better. I think he said 3 times more than what they normally get.

Make sure your OEM amp has no noise, take signal after that...it will be strong enough to feed the aftermarket one. Then route back to the speakers. Should sound good, but I'm hoping you are updgrading subwoofer if you're increasing your mid/high volume.

^^^If your going to put an amp for your factory speakers you really should upgrade the speakers to some 2/3 ways for a crisper and cleaner sound. I was looking at Death Toasters DIY thread on installing subs, amps, and all new speakers....long but full of pictures.....do a quick seach and check out his thread.
