Installer needed in Nassau, L.I. ...

Hey guys,
I wanted to know if anyone knows of a good, dependable installer in Nassau Cty or Eastern Queens area. I'm looking to install the Alpine Type-R 6.5" components (SPR-17LS) in the doors of my 02' TL-S. I'd need an amp installed and also thinking about upgrading the stock 8" sub to a 10" sub. Looking for somewhat of a custom install since it would be displayed at some shows.
Thanks in advance

-Fred

BigMike - I've been to a few of those shops already, but I'll check out the others and see what they quote me. Thanks for the info.

Dragon084 - Will Eurosound install products they did not sell? I'll be buying these components online and I know some shops will not install unless they sold it to you.

Titand19 - I don't have any of the pieces yet. I want to find out how much everything is going to cost me for installs and custom work before I buy the components.

Thanks guys. Any more info is welcome. Keep in mind, i'll be buying the items online since I can get a better price online than in the local shops.

you will not always get a better price in the end by buying things online. I know the shop I go to charges $50 an hour for service. If you buy it from them they usually give you a pretty decent brake on the instalation cost. If you bring in parts that they dont sell and that they have never installed before and it takes them 8 hours to do cause they have never done it before and you didnt buy it from them they will charge you for all 8 hours now had you bought it from them they may only charge you for 5 or 6 hours. That just my opinion on why you should buy from the shop. They will also be more likely to spend more time trouble shooting a problem if one occurs if you buy it from them.

[QUOTE=CCColtsicehockey]you will not always get a better price in the end by buying things online. QUOTE]

this is probably the case.

they do unbelievable work at Eurosound. I am pretty sure that if the

work is going to entail multiple hours of labor, that it'd be doable.

If it was something where you had all of the goods, and it was a small thing,

it'd probably end up in u geting the whole run-around and probably get like

squeezed in between appointments. This in-turn could result in cancellations.

A big job is deemed a priority. Money talks. I know this guy (owner). Hes a good

guy, but he tends to not give his customers the 100% attention that they diserve

unless he is making a decent amount of money. The workers are incredible, its just

the front end that is a little shabby. (owner ship + front desk is what i mean by front

end).
