installed my delphi roady today

I installed a Delphi Roady in the storage bin. Very clean installation and I'm able to close the lid to avoid prying eyes.
I made an "L" bracket to move the Roady up to the front of the bin. My only problem was that the hole I drilled in the bottom of the bin did not allow the thick audio patch cable to bend enough to re-install the bin in the dash. I had to drill another hole in the back of the bin to run the cable straight through. Other than that, every thing went together quite easy. It plays great through the aux input. The fidelity is pretty good to my ears. Thanks again to all who helped with the SHOND3/Accord modification. Even the "electronically obtuse" can complete a project with a little help from some friends.

Awesome! Would you be able to take some pictures and maybe even write up a little "how-to". I'm thinking about installing a Roady and would like some ideas and tidbits. Thanks!

I'll try and take some pix this weekend and provide a "how to." I need to get the interior clean. The last time I posted pix I was mildly chastised for having a dirty interior. :o Can't have THAT happen again.

Who has stock Roady's? I've been waiting for them to show so I can do the same thing to my new TSX.

Nice pics. I prefer an MP3 player myself.

Hey Bama! Looks good!!
About the power cable.... do you just drop it out from the bin into the not an ashtray? Or is it hardwired? I'm having trouble picturing it the way you described it.

Sheik28, I ran the wire so that it exits from the armrest storage bin on the left side and goes straight down to the edge of the console where it meets the carpet. Then I tucked the wire under the left side of the console. It's easy to lift the edge of the console were it meets the floor and push the wire underneath. The other end of the wire ends up at the back of the storage bin where the Roady is mounted. The wire goes through the drilled out hole and connects to the Roady.
