I may consider doing my sub install by myself. I have done some before but there was an aftermarket deck...SO my question is, what will I need to install completely. I have 2 12s and a jl 500.1 amp. I do not want an aftermarket headunit, so I know I need to buy a converter of some kind...Any help guys? Thanks

 

You do not need a converter, the JL 500/1 will take the speaker level signal to the R 6x9s. Don't use the signal-sense TO feture, it doesn't wrk on those wires well, find the RTO wire. There's a thread telling where to find it on the Dr side C pillar...
