Hi i just bought some kappa door speakers for my 2nd gen tl for the front and back. I was wondering if ill need to cut the door in order to make them fit? I just need to know so i can ask my dad to use his tools before i take the door panel off.

 

What's the mounting depth? You probably won't know if you need to cut or modify the basket until you get the door panel off truthfully

 

Yea take it off, if they won't fit you can try to put spacers. Either make them yourself, or buy em on ebay. Cutting the door is the last resort.
