Question Infinity kappa perfects 12.1?

hey

anyone kno about the infinity kappa perfects 12.1? are they infinitys top of the line subs? also are these subs good in terms of sound and performance? i might be looking into these instead of the 10w7 since it would be cheaper.

thanks
mike

The infinity kappa perfect 12 (either the VQ or 12.1) hits pretty hard if you have it in a sealed box. A couple friends of mine have them and they definately sound real good to me, and they are pretty hard to blow (we plugged one into a wall outlet and it didn't even phase the sub). If you are looking to save some money I would buy the 12.1 over the VQ because they are essentially the same sub save for the adjustable Q.

I would like to amend my statement. Today while at work me and one of the installers were tuning his kappa perfect 12.1 (in a slotted box) using a THX Bass cd and the sub blew a$$. I can not say i would suggest this sub to anyone after the horrible distortion i heard. Even my old RF HE 12 didn't sound that bad. . . .on a side note i am really hoping it was just because of the box that it sounded like that. . .

My friend has got some 12.1's in his old bronco and they bump. They seem like great subs from hearing them. Personally, I would go with the VQs cuz they got a few more things here and there and they don't cost much more.
