Hey does anyone know any information on about the infinity 6000cs component speakers? They sell for 200 bucks at circuit city and i have a friend that is willing to give me it for a discounted price? Are they worth the money? The website says that component speakers are second best compared to the kappa speakers? Hopefully they'll be worth it but I do not want to buy them if they are not good speakers.

Also, this is what speaker mods I'm planning for my TSX (if the infinity6000cs are good).

Front 6.5 - Infinity 6000cs w/ the included tweeters.
Back 6.5 - Infinity 6002 I
Rear 6x9's - Stock (unplugged)

Sub - 1 JL 10 inch sub
Amp - Rockford Fosgate 800x2 at 2 OHMS
Including - 1 capacitor for the HID's

I am NOT planning on using an amplifier for the new speakers. Also, the two front 6.5's and the back ones are not the same speakers due to money restrictions. Will the sound still be okay even though the speakers are not the same type?
Any positive feedback will be nice, just tell me what you guys think about this setup. Thanks in advance.

 

Where will you be installing the tweeters?

 

Theyre not as good as the Alpine SPX-F17Ms on onlinecarstereo for 239 : )

 

i will be installing the speakers in the front dash. Hey eldurado (sorry for the misspelling), do you think that this is a good setup? and the reason im getting the infinity 6000cs is because i can probally get them new for 120dollars. they also sell alpine SPS171a at circuit city for the same price. are those good? thanks for the feedback guys

 

I am not an infinity fan, you're asking the wrong guy. They're probably as good as the Alpine "S" calss in terms of build quality...
