I'm putting in a new system, expert opinion needed.

Ok, I'm completely redoing my stock system in my '00 TL. I'll be getting a new headunit, component speakers for the front, 2-way speakers for the rear (which will all be powered by their own amp), and a sub which will have its own amp. I've seen a bunch of pictures where the whole interior was stripped in order to do an install like this. Should I do the same? I've never done an installation before, but I've done my research and a lot of posts on acurazine have helped me understand what to do. I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to handle it. I know that stripping everything would make the install much easier, but I really don't want do do that...

Has anyone done something like this without removing their interior?

You really dont need to remove the interior besides the rear seat and door panels. I didnt have any troubles running all the wires under the carpet. I ran the RCA and speaker wire on the passenger side and power and remote on the driver side.

Honestly, I would ditch the rear speakers altogether and just put more money into the comps/amp.
