Ive read in the past that we cant alter our stock Bose systems (02 TLs) yet I see people talking about putting in new speakers... Can it be done???

 

man almost anything can be done.. the question is how much work is it to do it and how much will it cost... but yes you can change the speakers to your bloze system... but if you are going to change the speakers you will more than likely need a new amp to power them... unless you use the polks like southbound suggest... they are efficient enough to sound good w/ the stock bose system... but yes it is possible and has been done..
