Looks like im too late. 2 IDMAX 12s would be cheaper and have better sq and spl. The downfall is you would need over 2k watts to push em.

I'm resisting the urge to start this argument back up. But the w7 does have more Xmax (lab or real), and it does have a bit larger surface area because of the overroll surround. I won't argue either way on the SPL because you hear different things from different people...but as for the SQ the w7 is one of the most accurate subs out there.

It's like comparing a 330ci to a CL typeS. Both are equally great cars, one is just a little overpriced
