ICE-Link Install

Check out the Ice-Link Install...if anyone wants to know how just PM me, it was so simple...probably took about 1-2 hours. What I said to myself was if I didnt like where it was I could just take it out and replace those covers and it would look like I never touched it. It is a great alternative if you don't want to spend $30-40 on a mount.

Nice install...looks clean and it looks like its in an easily accessible location...maybe you could just post directions on how to do it so everyone can see?

Looks good. Thanks for posting pics. Do you have more info on how you did the install? It seems like it would be hard to get the connection from the radio to the otehr side of the dash.

it wasnt bad i just popped the cover underneath the where the pedals and such are and then I was able to reach my hand up and pop the unit that holds the vsa button and the covers. I was then able to pop the covers out and made a small cut at the bottom of one to get the wire through...once that was done I just put everything back then screwed the mount into the cover plates. The wire ran loosely near the steering column and into behind the navi where i could get the shond3 installed and the icelink connector. overall easy and clean

hahah those carpet pieces i took during work from a hotel under construction...classic but has saved me several times! haha
