I got a Varad scanner, Gothic Blue 5000B, It has 3 wires, red = the battery, black = ground, and yellow = to the ignition fuse, or to the radio fuse. I dont know which wire to tap the yellow wire into. I just know where the fuses are in the fuse box in the passenger side. And where could i take the other wires to? If you know anything about this it would be very helpfull. Thank you,

i have the same thing and i just took a tap off of my Clifford alarm LED...red went to a power strip and black went to ground...

the red wire goes to switched ignition and the black to ground the yellow to constant 12v the red wire will trigger the thing to start flashing when the car is off because with the key off the ignition/acessory circut will show ground when off. you can also hook this wire to the alarm if you have an aftermarket alarm use the orange wire. that wire is ground when armed and will cause the varad to flash when you set the alarm.

Currently 2001 Acura 3.2 TL With Navigation Black/Ebony

 

I can get mine varad to work, but it cannot remember pattern/speed. If I can tap into the fuse box with a) constant 12v and b) ignition ground...then I know it can work...right now I tap into the ignition off 12v (hot when key is off) and chassis ground. So now it does the default flash every time my car is off. Any help?
