I got a project.

As some of you know I won't be getting my license back until
Jan '03 at the earliest. so what I wanna do a screen or 2 and a mild system. Right now I have a pioneer DEH-8500 (old school) and a newer Pioneer (deh-something I don't remember cause it's in my garage.) I got a Clarion AMp and 2 JL 12's.....The sub and the amp are now in my girl's car. I got all the time in the world to work on this...what I want to know is.....should I go with one like 7 " screen in the dash or like 2 screens somewhere up front? I don't need them in the headrest cause no one sits there. I also am asking, Is there anything wrong with cheap screens...I always see screens on ebay and at Car audio shows and swapmeets for like dirt cheap...like $80-120 for a 4" or 5.6" screen...are these screens ok?????? If not, what makes them bad? I'm planning on doing all the work myself ( I'm crafty like that..) but I'm just not sure about what equipment to buy....I don't want to spend a fortune. keep in mind I can buy things over a period of time.
Than you, help will be greatly appreciated

Some tips that i have learned when I was shopping for my screens.... You get what you pay for !!!!!! My friend has a Pyle in dash DVD, and I just got a Clarion.... I originally had a panasonic, UNTIL I seen the quality of the Clarion, His Pyle look like a 1950 tube TV next to the Panasonic, and the panasonic doesnt really compare to the Clarion (which has the best picture wuality in my opinion) I would just go with an indash unit, the other choice would be to put some in your visors, but that will cost a lot in Labor fees! I got the clarion in dash 7" screen, which is touch screen activated (totally PHAT cause you dont need a remote)!!!! Chicks dig that you can just touch the display & play a movie... and then go buy a $199 PS2 to act as your DVD player (the clarion isnt a dvd, only am/fm/cd/tv tuner) hope this helps some....

I agree with what he said about the cheap screens. I bought and returned them myself. However, the 7" Panasonic screen that I have rocks. I considered Clarion but I saw the Panasonic and changed my mind.
