If you are on stock headunit, you need to run the remote wire to the fuse box onto a fuse. So when the the car's keys are out, everything is turned off. Get it? Now I have a 99TL, so I wouldnt know which fuse to run it, so check that out, I believe is 12V.

connect the remote to the blue wire in the harness for the aftermarket hu and that should turn the amp off/on with hu

another thing to take into consideration is your battery/alt
there could be a dead cell in your batt
if so alt cant fully charge batt and the amp is stealing current from batt that will result in a no start condition

ive seen this problem more in rsx's tho with dead cells in batts so make sure that every charging component is up to par and if so start wangin

also that cap wont do anythin but create more of a strain on your charging system if u need more current invest in an ho alt

Seems to me like a Remote wiring problem, you can just find another place to put the remote wire. I had my amp and sub installed professionally with the stock headunit and that's what they did.
