HU output harness

Anyone have any idea if there is an aftermarket harness someone makes that will plug right into the "B" harness (14-pin) that comes from the HU before it goes into the factory amp? I want to use the signal before the factory amp, but i really dont want to go splicing the factory harness so when i sell it i can just unplug this "new harness" and plug the factory amp back in. thanks...

Actually, its the 20 pin 'A' connector that has the audio, the 'B' connector is the 'BUS' that connects the navi-screen-AUX-etc.

And from the pics I see, I don't think that connector will fit.

If you have some extra cash laying around, you can always buy the Acura factory wiring...

Hey electro, I think you are referring to the connectors at the back of the head unit.

I think this is for the other end - at the amplifier plugs. There's B for power in and speaker out, and A for signal, right? (Going by my manual). That would be the best place for an adapter like this. This would have to be "A".

I've heard that B can be scavenged from a aftermarket Honda radio harness.

Heh heh, oops, damn Acura should name all of their connectors so you know what connects to what better

That harness might work, but you would need to trim away those ridges on the inside. Too bad you can't take the acura wire in and test it in the store.

That same site had a connector for an RSX with no picture, but a different internal PN.

I e-mailed them about it.

Easy solution for that - take the amp out and take IT in the store...
