How would I hook this up

Hey guys I'm back for another question. So here's the deal:

This is a pic of the harness on my HU

And this is my amp that I need to hook it up to

Now what do I hook up to what??? I would think that I could hook up either front OR surround to the amp. I don't think I would need to hook up the subwoofer RCA on the harness to the amp because the amp comes with a little sub control knob. Thanks guys.

if the amp is for your subs, i would hook it up using your sub channel on your HU. If you were to use the front channel for instance, any changes you make to the front channel settings and how they sound, that same audio singal would be sent to the sub amp aswell. But i may be totally off base aswell, as there are some on here that are much more knowledgable than me. Btw you would need an RCA splitter to split that one sub RCA into the two RCA inputs on your amp, costs like 10 bux online

Mitch is right on this one... Sub RCA out is definitely going to be your best bet... and if you only have the 1 sub RCA out that's shown, you'll need a splitter, just like Mitch said...

oh, by the way, the bass knob is a signal knob, but not like an RCA cable. the bass knob increases the amount of signal at a given frequency (rockford's is at 45Hz, Alpine's H/U sub control is at 50Hz, etc.). hope that clears up your thoughts with the bass knob vs. RCA signals...
