How to reset "Need Service Soon" Light

How to reset "Need Service Soon" Light

Does anyone know how to reset the "need service soon" light on the 2004 acura tl. I don't have nav.

On my Toyota, I disconnected the battery for about 5-10 mins. Let it totally clear everything out, connect it back, and it reset everything. Perhaps this will work on the TL's...

Not sure about the 2004, but on the 2003 if you hold down the "select" and "reset" and then turn the key to "on" and hold for about 10 secs the check engine light/need service soon will go off.

battery

disconnecting the battery for about 10 mins should do the trick.

thats not the correct way of doing it.
as i dont own a 04 im not sure but it will be in your manual on how to do it.
the 2nd gen we hold down the trip and reset buttons and turn the key to th erun position and hold the buttonas for 10 sec, but im sure the 04 is different
