How to play cd-r's on Bose
I'm not sure if this will work for everyone but it did for me. I have a 2001 TL-P with the standard Bose system, single disc. I tried burning discs many different ways but to no avail.
I've now been able to burn a ton of discs and listen to them all without any problem.
I changed three things at the same time so I'm not sure if one or all of them helped.
- I bought TDK 80min cd-r's from Costco
- burnt at 4x write speed
- I added 2 seconds between each song, an option you can easily add on Roxio
Other things I did or used:
- LG DVD Burner
- Roxio EZ CD Creator
- Disc at Once - DAO
The fact that I couldn't play CD-Rs on my stereo was going to make me spend hundreds of dollars but this seems to have worked. Hope it works for others.

I'll add one more thing. The TDK CDRs were the Music ones. Not the normal ones you stick on your computer. Click the link to see the case.
