how much for install?

I plan on getting my component set installed by a shop, just wanna get an estimate on how much it should run me, don't wanna get ripped off. Basically, I'm going to need them to make me a spacer for the speakers, intall the speaker, put the tweeter in the door flush mounted, and get the wiring to the trunk. The amp and subs i think i can take care of myself. And, i already have all the wiring, so basically, i'm paying for the labor and speaker spacers.
Anyone had just this done? if so, how much did it run you?
Or if anyone has a good idea of how much it should cost, let me know. I got a 2nd gen tl, i'm around norcal area.

I would not go with plastic spacers... the ones made from the birch plywood actually sound better and conform to the door better when screwed in, too. Figure a similar hourly rate to the dealership - ~$60 an hour?

It's not West Coast/East Coast, it's metro vs. suburbs. In the city it usually costs more to do business.

Spacers and mounting in door - $60? Tweeter in the dash - $30 if it just snaps in, more if you have to do any work.

But the wires... are your xovers going into the trunk? If so that means that new wire has to be run from the OEM amp location to the trunk, OR that new wire has to be pulled from each location to the trunk. You gotta pick which one. Extending the wire from the amp location will probably be built into the deal... but if the xovers are NOT in the trunk, then they have to mount them somewhere... where? And where will they fit?

well, what i want EXACTLY is spacers (from wood, now i'm thinking birch plywood cuz of your recommendation ) , i want the speakers mounted on it, i want the tweeters flush mounted on the door (don't know exactly where, i'll see what the pros and cons of the different locations are when i'm at the shop), and the wiring from the speaker through the door...
from here, i can pick it up, just run the wire to the trunk to the xover (which will be in the trunk), to the amp.
I mean, everyone is gonna have different prices, i just wanted to make sure i wasn't paying double or anything.....so far i've been quoted twice at around 120-130....sounds like its a bit steep, but not too much more than what you guys said. I'll do a little more shopping tho....
