How to install kickpanels with parking brake in the way?

Has anyone installed kickpanels in the TL? I would like to do this but I don't see how I could possibly do it with the foot brake that comes down as it does in my 2000 TL. I would appreciate any ideas on how to implement kickpanels or ways to relocate or modify the parking brake. Any other alternatives to getting great sound using good speaker placement would be appreciated too. Thinking of using a 3 way set which is why I want the kicks (plus the door location). Thanks.

I believe ValueTL bought the kick panels made by Q-Forms for the 98 and up Accord and they fit pretty well. You should either do a search or PM ValueTL.

hmmmm .... this is something that I posted about earlier because I am doing the same thing but I think I have it harder. I have an 01 CLS with the trunk release and the e-brake in the way. I am probably going to make an actuator for the brake and the release.

Actuator info?

Do you have any info on changing the current foot brake to an actuator just in case there isn't enough room for the Q-Logic kickpanels? Might not use it but it would be nice to know how to do it and where to get the actuator from. Thanks.

Agreed...they're a total rip off. Go search online...there are a bunch of places that sell linear actuators. In fact...some of your better hobbyshops may have something like that. Just do a search on google...

Although I will say...at least for my kickpanels...I'm making them form fitting enough not to worry about the parking brake....and I may shorten the brake just a tad
